My driving instructor Ian Oxley was fantastic! He took the time to slowly build my confidence over time without ever overloading me. He was flexible around my other commitments and very understanding when there were setbacks over driving test delays etc. If I needed practice regarding a specific skill he made sure I went back and tackled it again as well as creating useful and effective training videos tailored to my needs. I always felt in very safe hands and he made driving an enjoyable experience due to his calm manner and kind attitude. I can’t thank him enough for helping me to pass. I highly recommend Ian🙏

Adrian Stimpson at HOW 2 DRIVE was an excellent driving instructor for my daughter, Freya. I was impressed from the start with an introductory telephone conversation, clear training plan, excellent communication and most importantly great rapport with my daughter. Adrian was friendly, calm, down to earth and made my daughter comfortable with conversation and laughs. My daughter soon became a good, safe driver and passed her test first time. I completely trusted the service, could see the progress, and was confdent that timescales for the lessons and driving test were spot on. I cannot praise highly enough and would certainly recommend.

Karlton is an amazing driving instructor, and I just passed first time today with 4 minors! I never thought I’d be one of those people who passed first time, and none of this would’ve happened without Karl. He really helped improve my road awareness and planning. Unfortunately, Karl couldn’t take me out on the test day, so I also had a few sessions with Tim, who is also a brilliant instructor. Big thanks to both Karl and Tim—see you on the road! 🫡

Yes! We offer intensive driving lessons in both the Greater Norwich area and the Lowestoft and Yarmouth areas.

How long will it take to pass my practical test?

If you are a complete beginner, we can teach you how to drive to a high standard in about 30 hours. By this point you’ll be ready to pass your UK practical test.

If you’re a learner driver who already has some road experience, we’ll aim to do it even quicker than that!
